Our philosophy!

We are personal trainers who moved beyond the calorie, we understand that this scientific unit of heat energy unfortunately leads us into obesity, not out of it. Its no one’s fault really, just a hiccup in the history of science. So yes, this is a lot to take in, we are all indoctrinated into the food world of the calorie, but when we really understand our foods’ relationship with our bodies then we can free ourselves from the constraints of the calorie, and eat easy…

As for the resistance training, well that’s really the worst kept secret. If you understand that body fat is actually a really clever chemical energy reserve the body can call upon in an emergency, then you are also able to see that the only part of our body that uses this energy are our muscles, so lose the muscles and we lose the ability to use this energy reserve. Make muscles more efficient and they can utilise the energy from body fat more often, helping us be leaner.
